Void-Deck Technology Labs (VDTL)
Empowering Disadvantaged Children with Technology
We bring tech education straight to the community by hosting labs at HDB void decks, resident activity centers, and community centers. By pairing inquisitiveness with exposure to new technology, participants gain the confidence to explore science and tech independently.
Target Audience: Youths aged 7 to 14.
Format: Long-form programs (weekly or fortnightly sessions over a year) or short-form holiday camps.
Curriculum: A dual-track curriculum featuring a “Science Core” (topics like Climate Change, Energy, and Ecosystems) and a “Technology Core” (topics like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Webpage Development).
Holistic Growth: Integrated peripheral activities focus on “Building Me” (teamwork, public speaking) and “Building My Community” (project-based ideation and implementation).
